BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN "RACISM IS A GENIE" — DOES THAT MEAN WE GET THREE WISHES?

Obsessive Trump hater and boring rock musician from the 1980s, Bruce Springsteen, has decided to give us more of his "rock star wisdom."  In an hour-long interview on Maron’s podcast, WTF with Marc Maron, the 67-year-old singer, who likes to LARP as a blue collar worker by voting democrat and wearing bandannas on stage, explained that racism is like a genie that has been let out of a bottle by Donald Trump's election campaign.
"When you let that genie out of the bottle — racism, bigotry, intolerance — when you let those things out of the bottle, they don’t go back in the bottle that easily, if they go back in at all."
Nice analogy, Brucie. Certainly more poetic than the lyrics of your plodding 80s anthems. But if racism is a genie, as Brucie suggests, does that mean we get three wishes? I already know what mine are. One of them is that being "Born in the USA" doesn't automatically make you an American citizen.
